What's the easiest way to get the sound deadening tar off the floor boards? It's time for my car to go on a diet and this stuff needs to go.

Ayup, heat is your friend. Follow the glue lines and it lets go quickly. A wide blade peels it off fast. Many threads on this.
As I've said before, I can have the tar out of at least one side of the floorboard with tools in my garage before you can even get back here with dry ice. (Although dry ice is fun too. Make sure you pick up a case of plastic water bottles while you're at it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) ) |
