I have sent the crossmember, A-arms and the struts to be sandblasted and powdercoated. Crossmember and A-arms go black, but the Early 914-6 struts I am told are grey. So a basic grey? Not a big deal...not like getting Koni orange right ...eh? I'm not being anal here, just wondered if you guys care as much as the early 911 folks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif)

Probably grey. I've seen stock 6 struts in black and replacements in grey.
BE CAREFUL with powder on struts. Most powdercoaters will lay it on thick. You will run into problems with the brake lines going through the fittings and the line clips going on the mounts. I prefer paint on all of that stuff now... |
