It's not the most powerful engine around, but it should have a nice sound and be an alternative to the expensive Porsche engine. Any thoughts?

I am real close to getting my 3.3 svx engine back together. The heads are out for valve and seat grind. The 6speed should be at my door at the end of next week. The out with the chevy and in with the suby.
The reason they sound good is they are the same fireing order as a 911. There is a video out there of a guy that stuffed one in a 95-96 legacy and built long runner headers. Fixing the stock exhaust realy uncorks the tork at the bottom end. He raced a sti and was holding about a car lenth untill about 100mph. Im hoping i can rotate the intake so i dont cut the back. I will be posting pic. As a side note the engine had 190K and i found NOTHING out of spec. I added total seal rings and ACL race bearings, light polish on heads, and new oil and water pump. But valve guides, vavles, crank , rods , cams , all in factory specs. Amazing!! jcl |
