Summer is over and the first rain hit today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I have a 73 and want to add intermittent wipers. What do I need, and where can I get it? - Make sure you have the wiring in the steering column. A early '73 may not have it. - Get the extension harness. It plugs into your wiper motor connectors and adds a relay socket. - Get the correct relay - Brake off the tab on the wiper lever that prevents the lever from going down a notch. This article mentions the extension harness and relay: http://www.914world.com/specs/tech_el_washer.php (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) PS: Do a search here, there are some good threads about the subject already ... |
