Going to widen the rear flare and repaint looks like a little more work then expected

That doesn't look too bad at all, weld up and do your patching. Use a skim
of mar-glass at the seams with some honey oil in it (makes it smoother,easier to sand) gnarl it down with 36-40 grit. Double check you metal (high & low spots) then re-cream with filler and block it to perfection........prime |
