Has anyone ever repaired a bad Permatune box for a 6 ? I have one in a 911 that was installed brand new and it owuld appear that almost immediatly it wen tbad. The car then sat indoors for almost 20 years. Bench tests fine until I go to the ground (D ) to B. I get and overload there, I assume there is a blown capacitorma-jiggy ??? you're potted (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
The thing that really sucks ( besides the price ) is the new units they sell look nothing like the original units. For the new price of 560.00 I'll see if one of the local geeks can repair this one. At least it wil look and mount correctly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) |
