I bought my car in 1981. Previous owners changed it from red to black. In the mid 80's I added the GT look. I am at a cross roads. I near time to paint and I am thinking of a different color. This is my first time painting anything more than a Revell Porsche so I am adventurous but I don't want to be in over my head either.

The best quality (solid color, very high in pigment) paint and activator were, last time I checked, going to run about $800 to $1200 with some other stuff like the sandpaper etc. To me these cars look best in solid colors rather than metallic/pearl, which is harder to patch anyway.
