..at the top of the transmission housing where it mates to the engine..

I think I dropped a tin screw in one of those holes (go figure.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) )

So now I'm assuming I need to check to make sure cuz I'm sure it'll be a bad day if it did go in there and I don't get it out...

I've never separated a transmission from the engine in the 914. How big of a deal is it? Is anything gonna fly out if I just unbolt all the perimeter bolts around the edge?

sigh...
