I have been watching the type 4 engine assembly video and when the case is assembled the windage tray is not installed.

Is this something that was just left out or is the windage tray not needed?

I do remeber reading some articles where there were holes drilled into the tray to let the oil return to the pan quicker.

What is the prefered direction for a 2056 build?
