Do you have to remove all the cables and electrical to have the heater controls come out, or can you push all the leavers and the mount back inward. I have the face place off, but now its time to get the bulk of it out. Any tips or tricks? Its a 1970 914-4 BTW

Alphaogre.... are you deleting your heat? If so I can take those cables off your hands granted they come out without the dogleg breaking off like mine did.
