Switching over to a racing fuel cell and need to know the resistance range of the existing gauge so I can order a sending unit that is compatible with the gauge. Most seem to be 0-90 ohms.

You will need one of these to make it read correctly...

These guys will even set it up for you. The GM sender you speak of is 0-90 ohms the VDO gauge needs 70-7 ohms
