Do you have to remove all the cables and electrical to have the heater controls come out, or can you push all the leavers and the mount back inward. I have the face place off, but now its time to get the bulk of it out. Any tips or tricks? Its a 1970 914-4 BTW

I think there's also a nut you have to remove from the trunk side of things... And there are a "few" things in the way there, like the fuel tank...
