After reading the post asking what to bring on a long trip in a 40 year old German sports car, I seem to recall a list of phone numbers across the country that used to exist. Maybe we can get Sir Andy or one of the admins. to compile a list on 914 World that is accessable to members who might break down somewhere far from home and need help. Does this list still exist somewhere? Anyway, if someone has trouble close to the central California coast they can call me. I know there are privacy issues people are concerned about. If you're not interested I certainly understand your apprehension.

I'm located in the Los Angeles 'South Bay' area, about 10 miles S/E of the LAX airport. Facilities include a work shop with a lift and a bunch of tools (including jack stands), sleeping quarters, restrooms and a fridge. Also have an enclosed trailer with a winch. I don't know how to use any of this stuff, but I have it ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Elliot has my #, so call him first, and he can call me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/call me.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) 'Someone' might want to call Greg to see if he still has the list handy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) ... It probably needs updated though, my cell and residence #s have changed since he got my info. |

He seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. |
