I have a set of 6x16 for the front and 7x16 for the rear. Because of the different widths the same tire will be .8 inch different front to rear. Does anyone have any experience with this?
The tires that I want to buy are the Yokohama s drive and in the 205 tire size They have both 50 & 55 aspect ratios. Some advise would be appreciated Thanks David |

If you have stock fenders forget about 225s. Even 215s would probably require pulling the fenders a little bit.
IMO it would be smarter to use the exact same tire rather than a lower aspect tire in the rear. If I was doing that I would use the same width rim. Not saying you shouldn't do it, just that I would look for two 6s or 7s to make a matched set. |
