That's right!
Yours truly is in the running for Car of the Month for a second time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Last time it was a CW (concours weenie) car that won, although we made a good race out of it. This time its another steep hill climb because Eric Shea's just finished GT clone is one of the contenders and is already way ahead in the voting. Here's the link to the COTM thread. Let's prove that the full time race cars also have what it takes to represent our Marque. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Thank you for voting for Racer Chris. You know what I appreciate about your car Chris? You retain the tradition of keeping it straight and looking nice. I was always taught, having grown up around sportscar racing and the SCCA, that this was one of the many things that separates sportscar racers and oval track guys. We may get dings and dents too, but we don't simply hammer them out and go back at it. It began as a gentleman's sport, and remains so today - taking pride in your machine means taking pride in remembering the history of racing itself.
If you don't win this month, rest assured your car will be re-nominated right away. |
