Do you mount the trunk release switch next to the engine lid pull ? If so, how long a switch is needed to go through the fire wall and backpad ? Seems like there are better places to put it- what do you have ?

I mount the safety pull wire to the fulcrum point of the trunk
latch lever. I drilled a tiny hole , then looped the wire through. A small amount of solder onto the exposed loop of wire. Just a small gauge wire, snake it into the engine compartment, with a small piece of vacuum hose on the end (handy for grabbing). If you saw my engine bay at the Phoenix club, you didn't even notice the safety pull next to the flat fan. Marty |
