After your hood crest is worn, the metal is dirty, etc., what's the best way to restore and shine it up without removing the metal finish and paint? DON'T REFINISH THEM. Post a photo or two, please. Among the early 911 crowd, patina is preferred... clean with a toothbrush and paste, or maybe handcleaner. If in good shape with no cloisonne loss, genuine orange bar badges are an easy sell. http://www.early911sregistry.org/forums/sh...range+bar+badge http://www.early911sregistry.org/forums/sh...range+bar+badge |
