That's right!
Yours truly is in the running for Car of the Month for a second time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Last time it was a CW (concours weenie) car that won, although we made a good race out of it. This time its another steep hill climb because Eric Shea's just finished GT clone is one of the contenders and is already way ahead in the voting. Here's the link to the COTM thread. Let's prove that the full time race cars also have what it takes to represent our Marque. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Thank you for voting for Racer Chris. Sorry to say it but all this "vote for me, vote for me"! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif) has kind of cheapened the COTM personality contest for me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

Elliot, I thought my thread was in good taste and appropriate, and except for that guy who overreacted, the response has been mostly positive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The hardcore racers may not pay much attention to the COTM threads and in fact it was just a fluke that I even found out my car was nominated. I rarely vote in COTM threads. From the beginning, it was pretty obvious that Eric's car would be the front runner. In fact someone started a thread suggesting his car should be COTM without any voting at all. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif) Being the underdog against some pretty nice street cars I felt that drawing in some "outsiders" was the best hope for a decent result. |

Not directed at you or anyone in particular. Just an observation and opinion. (And you know what that's worth). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) |
