> What's the best way to restore/refinish your Porsche hood crest? I have three early style orange bar emblems than need some TLC., I have three early style orange crest badges than need shining up.

After your hood crest is worn, the metal is dirty, etc., what's the best way to restore and shine it up without removing the metal finish and paint?

By $250-$300 the 2 on the left look like $300, the one on the right $250. Do research on pelican F/S section.

My '67S still has it's OG badge... not crazy about having to drop $300 if it ever needed replacement.

But I'd do it. Those look good... you'll have happy buyers. GLWTS.

Patina examples: first one sold for $300. In my case the damaged badge is more than acceptable.
