I'm looking for a new and relatively cheap daily driver, found a clean low miles 95 audi s6, anyone ever had one? the car drives really well, and for around 10 grand, seems like a solid deal, any horror stories? This is a one owner, all records solid car, with all maintence performed. No visible leaks, and all origional paint.
thanks! -Adam |

I also have a '98 2.8L A4. Perfect car for my daily Hwy17 (Santa Cruz Mtns.) commute. The quattro is great. We take the car to Tahoe often in the winter. Moves as good as our Suburban given enough clearance.
I bought it used at 40k+ miles and it just turned 100K. I have had no problems. The 6 is much more roomy and you get performance upgrades with the S. Since you live in an area with winter snow and ice you may want to have two sets of tires. To take full advantage of the S in the dry you'll want performance tires. However you will not get very good traction with performance tires in the Winter. -Jeff |
