I'm looking for a new and relatively cheap daily driver, found a clean low miles 95 audi s6, anyone ever had one? the car drives really well, and for around 10 grand, seems like a solid deal, any horror stories? This is a one owner, all records solid car, with all maintence performed. No visible leaks, and all origional paint.

thanks!

The B4 and C5 car's are differnent animals but good breed all around.
I have a 95.5 S6 Avant and owned a 95 Sedan previously. I like the Avant better. The C5 cars are bigger (heavier) an seem to be built to last.
Tunning is to the moon! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)
Do you want 400Hp from your inline 5 Turbo ... its available (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)
10K seems like a low price for one of these cars. Documented stockers or well careed for Modd'ed cars go for 15-21K. Avants carry a couple K premium.
The engine is the same as the one stuffed in the 80-90 Avant chassis and tweezed on by Porsche to produce the Euro only RS2.
Other than the Timing belt mentioned previously and requiring some quirky and expensive plugs, Electrical gremlins seem to be the biggest issue.
Remember these cars were LOADED with every amenity available at the time so thing go awry after time and use.
Chk it out by fellow S-Car nut and BUY IT if no seriousl problems are Id'd.
