My 2056 has a Monza muffler. Sounds good but it is exceptionally loud. I have looked around but I have not seen many alternatives to what I have that would be quieter but still have some reasonable performance. Well let me clarify that statement. I have not seen options that I would pay the asking price for!

Jaime, I wish I had that muffler. I sold it a while back before I sold my 4 cylinder.
That last muffler you guys posted appears to be a Sebring muffler that someone welded a Cherry Bomb glasspack on. I believe Pelican sells them, and they're pretty cheap. Here's an idea guys, I think it was brought up a long time ago on a 911 forum, but would people be interested in creating a muffler exchange? Where a few people own the different types of mufflers, and people who want to try out a muffler on their car simply borrows it or rents it, so they can see if it's something they want to purchase. Might be a pain to run, but maybe if you sent a paypal payment for collateral, and when they recieved the muffler back, you refund their paypal.. Because if you guys are anything like me, deciding on a muffler/exhaust combo on my car was really quite difficult. |
