Some of us may have our "favorite" color, but does it work on a 914? Very few cars look good in ANY color, so if you're a fan of yours (which you should be) tell us why. To keep it an original color is a great reason also, even if it isn't the most popular or even "fits" the design. Maybe we can all learn something about ourselves today... When I was looking for my current car I wanted silver. But, as often happens, the color finds us and I ended up with Marathon Blue, which is an icy blue. I dislike the black bumpers used in 73-74 so I went with body color bumpers when the car was painted. I think it improves the visual proportions and makes the car look a little longer and sleeker.
