Anyone know where the blue wire dangling from my starter goes?
Got this feeling it has some thing to do with my lack of spark to the coil. It is hanging from the harness plug on back of the starter solenoid. 1.8L 74 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif) |

No blue ones that I can see in any diagram hooked to the starter - are you sure it isn't one of the back up light wires that go to the switch on the side of the trans?
You need to check the voltage at terminal 15 on the coil with the key on (black/red wire). Should be 9+ volts. |
