I have a 1975 914. Took it out this weekend and as I went to park on a hill, and felt the car slowly moving backwards after I pulled the parking brake. It worked out, I found a flat area to park in, and put it in gear so it wouldn't roll away.
However, I now have a parking brake that doesn't work. Is there a single remedy to this, or will I need to have it looked at by a mechanic to figure out the issue? thank you for the help! |

And your wheels should be turned to the right when parking on a downhill and the left on an uphill.
