bump.
Can anyone recommend a engine shop that can and actually has experience balancing 914 engines? Most of the engine shops around Minnesota say they think, they can balance the engine. I don't confident with their answer to give them my engine parts. I can ship the parts any where in the US. |

There has to be a balance shop local that does good work. Look for a shop that only does balancing. Ask do they remove material from the botom of the pistons or the pin, do they balance parts separate and then together, rods both ends?
