well - yes

- but it's maybe more about the quality of the steel used in "mfgr to specs"

all "steel" is not equal

depends on what specs one is referring to - fraud abounds in the aftermarket, and China is most notorious for this

many of us in both porsche and the mazda markets have long eschewed "china steel" vs "German steel" when it come to bearings

many of us tend to believe that German steel is vastly superior - based on subsequent failures analysis
