I am in the process stripping my 74 for paint. I can't seem to evenly compress the tabs under the cowl at the washer base to get them out. I've used a number of different pliers.
Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks, Jack |

Take a pair of side cutters (diagonal pliers) and cut off the ears or the hole base. New squirters are only about $8.
