I can verify the BA quote as well. I took their tuneup class, which they sort of aim at the cars in the group. When he found a couple of 914/6's in the crowd, we got several great stories/comments from his driving days, and when for each off the topics (how to change oil/etc) both he and Jerry made sure that any 914/6 oddities were covered as well.
It is certainly true that the stock air cleaner hides the engine. The twin carb look is much cleaner, even through the engine lid. kim. |
