The original thought was that no car be smogged after 30 years of age. That really should be the goal rather than this half-assed attempt at get a few thousand dollars a year.

Ideally how many 30+ year old cars do you see on a daily basis?

I think the CA lawmakers are in the pockets of the Pick-n-pulls and new car dealers!
