I recently joined this site. Now I can ask the one 914 question that has plagued me for years if not decades: Why do some racers cut the windshield off? There cannot be much weight savings there. So, can someone let me in on the secret or do I have to take a blood oath or something first? thanks.

OK, so I was a weight losing fanatic.
Converted my 901 to a 2 speed ( W/no reverse).....lost about 20 lbs. A guy don't need all them gears for AX. When ya get serious about weight loss, it's tough to stop. 1706lbs with a 2.7L 6 . I had to balast up to make XP. |
