hi,

im a newbie so please excuse the beginner's questions.

I have a 1975 1.8L L-jet. Currently the car will start, but not idle at all. I checked all the vaccuum lines in back and cant find anything wrong with them. The car reads as having between and quater and half of a tank of guess, which i put in.

I just replaced the battery and i can hear the feul pump humming when I turn the car on.

I am baffeled as to what the heck is going on, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Very important that the oil cap be 100% sealed. If you just added oil and it didnt run after that.....
