where can you find the engine size for a 1973 914? I have the vin number, but all the sites want 17 digets
4732909011 is the vin number

If it's a '73, it will be a 1.7 unless someone has done an engine change. Engine stamping will begin with EA or EB. This will be on the case rib, pass side, near the flywheel (under all the FI stuff and dirt/grease).

The 1.8 didn't start till '74.
