QUOTE(sanman @ Sep 16 2004, 06:26 AM) IMOA I dont think a FAN can make boost or am I wrong conceptually, the compressor stage of a turbocharger is just a fan... if you can turn the fan fast enough, you will make boost. of course it takes power to drive the fan; lots of it. multiples of HP power. go have a look at a 5HP motor. SOME people have reported SOME success with SOME devices. it is seductive because unlike magnets on the fuel line or pinwheels in the intake duct, it is actually based on (inspired by?) devices that actually work. fundamentally, i believe most are of the opinion that it is a cashflow device - it is designed to provide a stream of cash from the buyer to the seller ... |
