Has anyone tried a SCART dual in single out on a 914-6 yet? I liked what I saw at Rennsport but am nervous about the single out exhaust tip fitting through the stock long port hole valance on a 914-6. I took my car out for a test with the GoPro and feel like my exhaust is too tame. These runs peaked over 6500 rpms and the car sounds mild out the back. My car is running a 2.4S MFI engine.

What I can say though is that it sounds anything but tame! There are 2 versions of the 2/1. If you want something that’ll wake the neighbours get the race version. The sound that these things produce is nothing short of spine tingling. Part throttle cruising and acceleration gives a deep, burble thats typical Porsche just louder but get on it and all hell breaks loose. The sound just explodes into a wail at around 4k and it’s so addictive that you’ll find yourself looking for tunnels to punch it through just so you can get that rush. These are the best mufflers on the planet, hands down. Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |
