My buddy got hit by the hurricane, and he is trying to run an AC window unit. His generator has a 4 prong 220V, but, his AC unit, which is also 220V, has 3 prongs.
He bought the connectors and what not, so he can cut and splice to make it work, but he is unsure of the wiring. Does anyone have any idea? And, did that post make any sense what so ever? |

My bad. He bought a female for the AC to plug into, and a male that will plug into the 4 prong, so, he is building a conversion cable thingy.
He bought the 3 prong wires, and they are White, Green, Black. |
