Is anybody familiar with this 914 on Flea Bay? It doesn't appear the owner is....

You guys are aware that 12/73 is the build date and not the model year right? Model year is indicated by the VIN, which starts with 474. That means it's a 74. Porsche always started production halfway through the previous year, so cars built in late 73 are 74 model year cars.
Not to mention that the 1.8 engine wasn't offered until the 74 model year. In 73 only the 1.7 and 2.0 were available. |
