If I've missed this info somewhere obvious, I'm sorry. Does anybody have any info related to the first 914 off the assembly line? When did the 1st car roll off the line? Production car or otherwise. I know the two 914-8s were early. But did the 4s come first? Or 6s first?
Anybody know where VIN 4702900001 is? What about 9140430001? |

I don't know how accurate this is, but 914world has chassis #4702900001 in the Wolfsburg VW Museum. It's orange. I'd love to know if that's a verified VIN. |
