Mentioned this in a reply to a WTB ad but probably belongs in this forum area.
I have a set of NOS injectors but wanted to replace the braided elbows with the newer style rubber ones. While many people will just attach them with a hose clamp, I decided to bring them over to the local hydraulic repair place (Clark Industrial Supply in Pottstown, PA). I also provided the new elbows. For $20 total they removed the old ones and properly crimped the new ones on. A far superior solution versus hose clamps. |

They are a bit scratched up because I had them in my car for a few months before i removed the engine. As for what looks like black spray paint on the green ... nope. I have two NOS sets from different sources and they all have some of that black on them.
I got the elbows from the guy in Atlanta. |
