Mentioned this in a reply to a WTB ad but probably belongs in this forum area.

I have a set of NOS injectors but wanted to replace the braided elbows with the newer style rubber ones. While many people will just attach them with a hose clamp, I decided to bring them over to the local hydraulic repair place (Clark Industrial Supply in Pottstown, PA). I also provided the new elbows.

For $20 total they removed the old ones and properly crimped the new ones on. A far superior solution versus hose clamps.

You're right guys...My NOS set has paint on them too. Sorry for the false alarm.

Anyone know if any of these elbows are comparable to the additives and ethanol in today's fuels?

Jim

That's why I make my own elbows. Piece of 6 gauge copper wire inserted into precut length of 30 R9 hose and bent to shape, heat till too hot to touch, and into the freezer for an hour. Pull wire out. Bingo!
