Another dumb question. When attaching bracket to tranny, which side faces forward?

continuing my dumb questions, which is the left side heater control flap and which is the right side. Is the arm that the cable attaches to on top or bottom?

The arm is on top. That's the way mine are, and that's what I've seen in the past. What I'm saying is I'm 95% sure that's correct, although I've thought that before and been wrong.
