I'd been wondering about this for a while . . . thoughts?
FWIW, they're all 12V units, tachometer is marked 4Zyl, so should be plug and play. Glasses are a little foggy/dirty (on inside (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ). I do like they way the gauges on the combo instrument are on the sides . . . maybe they'd be less blocked by the steering wheel? I may have to put them in just to make sure they all work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

I always thought this would look cool to do. Those early green gauges are so much cooler looking than the 70's ones.
What's the speedo calibrated for? Did 912's run it off the trans like the 914, or off a front wheel like a Beetle? |
