Ok, so maybe many of you have done it before..... but this past weekend, I buried the needle at 120 mph on a stretch of road.
It was cool (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Strange thing though..... later in the evening, I took the Acura on the same stretch of road, and only got to 105 mph before I had to start slowing down. The acura is rated at 165 HP..... what does that say about the teener? Any guesses? |

QUOTE(914Timo @ Oct 13 2004, 12:20 AM) QUOTE I think its more than a wing. Must be something with alignment. I posted this hoping someone had seen the same problem. I checked the trailing arms bushings and everything else but can't find anything loose or wrong. I have noticed the very same thing. Interesting to see it is not only my 914..... I think it comes when you have speed over about 100 mph. What do you think ? I am going to try some wing or spoiler if it helps. I dont like them, but if it makes the problem dissapear, I think I can keep one in my car. Timo Right its only at higher speeds. The car feels stable as long as its under power. Its when you let off of the throllte to slow down. I was not usng the brakes. I have only lined my car up myself with using strings and such. I feel like I need to have a alignment shop check it out. |
