After I got the throttle body off on my '76 2.0, a couple of questions. There is a sensor under the throttle cable, white wire was broken off, I repaired the wire, what does the sensor do?
Also, under the throttle cable in the tin on the passenger side is a clean 1/2 inch hole, what is it there for, looks like it was taped over at some point? Finally, there is a machined approximately 1 inch hole in the back of the engine bay wall about car centerline, in the circle in the picture with the blue glue residue around it, and the remains of a small black plastic cap were underneath it. What is the hole there for and should it be covered? Anyone on any of this stuff? |
