I'm putting my 74 2.0L up for sale. The body of the car was just professionally refinished with all metalwork on the body taken care of by the Metal Surgeon and a high quality repaint to the factory color. The car is complete with actual documented mileage of 78,000 or so. I have documented every owner since purchase in Connecticut, but car spent majority of its life in CA.

Interior is tan which complements the ice green color nicely. The car has previously won best in class local concours events in Denver (Colorado Concours)

To my knowledge the only Ice Green Metallic 914 still in existence, perhaps the only ever to have existed (have heard some reports of me stein finding an engine deck lid of a similar color).

Asking 30k, located in Denver.

I don't understand this listing. Is the car back together? If the car was previously winning concours event, why the repaint/metalwork? Was the car damaged?

I guess I should have started by asking whether the car is still for sale. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks for the interest!

The car is not together, as a matter of fact it's about as pulled apart as is possible.

While the car had won events previously, the paint had been replayed at a sub-concours level in the late 80's.

15 months ago I ran into the ice green car with my other 914 and damaged the left front fender. I had this fender repaired (replaced the entire fender) by one of the best metal workers around (the Metal surgeon). While this work was being done I went ahead and had him refinish and repaint the rest of the car in the original color. The paint is truly breathtaking now. More details can be seen in my Calypso build thread!

I know I'm asking enough to raise some eyebrows, but IMHO this car is worth it.
