Hello,
Installing a new carpet set, tried to remove het handbrake lever. Unfortunately, didn't work. Removed the locking clip for the cable (cfr. Haynes repair manual). But the pin wouldn't come out. How can I solve this problem? Thx |

Kind of like what Rob said. Can you get enough slack to remove the handle with cable from the E brake cable loops coming thru the fire wall. That way you'd have it on the work bench. Much easier to work on.
