Your repairs and mods are coming along nicely, congrats! I can only imagine the fun it must be when you try and buy parts and ask for a "driver's side" part...! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) Keep up the great work. Chris I get myself mixed up when I talk to people who know about 914's ! |

Your repairs and mods are coming along nicely, congrats! I can only imagine the fun it must be when you try and buy parts and ask for a "driver's side" part...! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) Keep up the great work. Chris I get myself mixed up when I talk to people who know about 914's ! Just wondered if there was much cutting involved in the footwell to accommodate the pedal cluster? Also did you need to reinforce under the pan where the pedals have mounted? I'm pipe-dreaming but also trying to learn as much as possible from your fantastic build - Nick |

I'm pipe-dreaming but also trying to learn as much as possible from your fantastic build - Nick Nick, I used a cut from another 914 in the floor, complete with its support, the footwell cutting is fairly easy but building a new bulkhead that isn't just a square edged box is proving slow and a lot harder ! I've haven't been able to get back at it lately, business and family have been taking priority... I promise to everyone I'll be back out at it shortly . |
