My local Porsche mechanic has one of these and was wondering how rare they are. Since he wants to sell it, I posted an ad in the non-914 classified.

I am also visiting VW events in Europe and we begin to see them more. They were never sold here....so not a lot of them around which makes them special and that explains the high price.
