Hi Nick, well being truthful I'm not making much head way at the moment ! Very busy at work thankfully, I'm buying bits and bobs as I go still, and when my nephew has his car off my ramp and my brother has his Healey up and off again I'll be able to get back to mine, my welder is playing up so I'm getting my brothers and this is all entwined in the above plans !
The dash was one cut up although I will cut another as it all make finishing a lot easier, as when I cut the switch panels at the steering column and turn them I'd need to set a piece in but cutting them from another dash will cut the welds down, now that I've done it it would be a lot easier next time ! Yes the pedals are from an early 911 although not just early enough!!! I need to change the brake pedal to an early one but everything else is the same, my new salesman is also a 914 owner so he's pushing me to get back to it ... but my evenings are spent recovering lately! Anyway I will get back to it .... promise |
