Hi,
Installed new clutch disc, to bearing, pressure plate and resurfaced flywheel. All went together fine and all gears can be engaged with no issues. I did notice when clutch is disengaged at a stop the engine idle drops 200 -300 RPM then fluctuates back to idle RPM and back down. In neutral with engine running and no clutch disengagement the idle does not fluctuate. The only change that was made was the original clutch disc had 4 spring and the new disc has 6. The crank end play was measured at .003 inch with the 3 existing shims. Is this rpm drop / fluctuation normal?

Also double-check your transmission ground strap.
